Edmore to sell piece of railroad bed to help enable development of urgent care center

At a special meeting on April 18, the Edmore Village Council agreed to sell a small triangle of a former railroad bed for $500 to enable the development of a new urgent care center to move forward.

The former CSX railroad bed is between 10th Street and M-46, said Village Manager Justin Lakamper, and is part of the lot owned by Santi Estates LLC. The developer has plans to build the urgent care center next to Great Lakes Medical Associates, located at 1021 E. Main St.
