Danish Festival Board unveils future plans for “Tivoli Square” property in downtown Greenville

Standing upon what is currently an empty, dusty lot containing but a few shrubs, trees and some open space, members of the Danish Festival Board are dreaming big when it comes to the future of this community's “corner lot.”

Since purchasing the vacant parcel of 0.55 acres, settled on the northwest corner of Lafayette (M-91) and Washington (M-57) streets in downtown Greenville from Ray Winnie last year, festival organizers have been working to develop a long-term plan to transform the site into what they hope will become the heart of the annual festival — Tivoli Square.
