Three local student-athletes qualified and competed in their state finals appearances on Oct. 14 and 15.
Central Montcalm junior Erika Thomas and sophomore Alexis Curry both qualified for the Division 4 state golf finals as individuals, playing at The Meadows at Grand Valley State University. Both girls previously competed at the 2021 state finals when Central Montcalm qualified as a team, finishing 18th out of 18 teams at last year’s Division 4 state finals.
