Central Montcalm girls basketball out to redeem poor 2021-2022 season, beats CC-C, 43-34

Last season, the Central Montcalm girls basketball team had their worst record under head coach Rob Putnam — 4-17.

It led to long talks and a real reassessment of what went wrong and what needed to be fixed. Putnam met with each of his players individually following the conclusion of last season and, to their credit, they went right back to work. Every opportunity from that moment the Hornets got together was seized and utilized to get them back to their winning ways.
