Citing dropping enrollment, health and safety, and being able to play closer to home were all reasons determining the change in the football program at Carson City-Crystal Area Schools.
Following a 6-0 vote at the CC-C Board of Education meeting Monday evening, starting in the 2023 fall season, the current 11-man football teams will change to an 8-man ball game.
