After several weeks of review and discussion, the Belding City Council approved its 2022-2023 fiscal year budget Tuesday while emphasizing a renewed effort focused on better communication between the council and city staff.
According to City Manager Jon Stoppels, the budget balances while addressing a number of needs in the community.
