Greenville student’s Black Lives Matter painting donated to Flat River Museum

When local high school students set out a month ago to hold a peaceful protest in their own community, they didn’t know what kind of response their efforts might generate.

Several Greenville High School AP U.S. history students had come together to support the global Black Lives Matter movement that has grown in strength in major cities across the county in response to several deaths of Black individuals who died in altercations with police.
